Candidates are strong riders and own a sound horse with a calm disposition, have a reliable truck and trailer and a great work ethic. The interview process consists of testing for both horse and rider. Testings are held throughout the year as needed. The horse and rider are graded as a team.
Basic Equitation
Demonstrate control at the walk, trot and canter. Circles and figure eights.
Obstacle course
Walk over and through tarps, pool noodles, bridge, move a construction barrel etc.
Basic Sensory test
Strollers, umbrellas, loud toys, pom poms, squirt guns, etc.
Advanced sensory test
Sirens, fireworks, smoke, whistles etc.
